The Town and Country Pickering woodburning stove is part of Town and Country’s Eco Design range of stoves. Designed and built to meet the 2022 ultra clean burning standard, the Pickering features extra baffle plates and double layers of vermiculite fire bricks to extract as much heat from the wood as possible. This means that the fire burns at a hotter temperature than non Eco Design stoves. This results in more heat transfer to the room and heavily reduced particle output.
Also available with a high-leg log store option
Built to last
The Pickering is built to last in the Town and Country factory in Yorkshire. Thick steel construction and a superb air control system means the stove will last and last. The baffles are easily removed for chimney sweeping and maintenance.
Wood burning
The Pickering is a wood only stove and does not have a rear flue connection option. This allows the top flue collar to be set right at the back of the stove making it an installers dream stove. The stove comes with an optional rear heat shield allowing it be be placed as close to combustible or delicate walls.

The huge glass window of the Pickering makes for a stunning view of the burning wood. The air control is precise and easy to move. Available in several colours, we particularly like the gun metal. Remember though, we can colour your stove in almost any colour you like at our unit in St Werburghs. Maximum heat output of around 7kW makes it an ideal choice for medium to large rooms. Finally the Eco Design credentials of the Pickering make it the right choice if you are concerned about air pollution – the right solution to get rid of your highly polluting open fire
